Credential Description: The Registered Planner (RP) credential, issued by iAPSCC®, recognizes professionals who demonstrate expertise in planning industrial maintenance and capital projects within the process industries. This certification validates a planner's ability to develop comprehensive strategies for efficient plant operations, equipment maintenance, and facility upgrades. RPs are skilled in the planning of routine maintenance, STO events, and Capital Projects with a focus on maximizing uptime and minimizing operational disruptions.

Earning Criteria:

• Currently hold a planning related role in industrial maintenance or capital project planning in a process industry as verified by at least one supervisory professional recommendation and have less than 2 years of experience in a planning role.
• Initial completion of the iAPSCC® Knowledge Engine™ ( iKE™).
• Documentation of industrial trade level training and experience by a recognized certifying body.
• Agreement to adhere to iAPSCC®'s Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct
