If you're considering a career in maintenance or project planning, scheduling, or cost control, or you're currently performing in one or more of these roles, you're most likely aware that although the value-contribution potential is tremendous, the recognition and rewards (salary, benefits, status) for these undesignated positions is typically well below what a professionally designated individual would receive, e.g., uniformed personnel, senior managers, generic project managers, engineers, journeypersons, scientists, nurses, or accountants.

But do not despair: join us and together we'll unite and collaborate to positively disrupt this industry paradigm; to make aware the incredible value-contribution potential you possess to enhance business and project performance; to increase your worth individually, and collectively

Value Statement

Provide members with a safe, secure, educational, and respectful online presence to enhance and showcase their unique talents in recognition of their value-contribution potential to the project controls and physical asset management communities.

Our Vision

Provide an international recognition platform for maintenance and project planners, schedulers, and cost controllers-to showcase their talents with a professional designation and benefit from their value-contribution potential-to enhance project and business performance globally.

Our Mission

Advocate for maintenance and project planners, schedulers, and cost controllers in recognition of their value-contribution potential through education, certification, mentorship, collaboration, and professional designation.

Why join iAPSCC?

Planning, scheduling, and controlling costs for effective project delivery, regardless of project type, size, complexity, industry, or location are functions often performed by undesignated individuals whose value-contribution potential is not fully recognized. As such, respect and compensation are not as rewarding as they could be. Furthermore, with unrecognized value-contribution potential, many projects fail to meet their targeted deliverables.

Billions of dollars will be invested in all types of projects worldwide by 2030 and beyond, many of which are related to green energy and technology, requiring more precise planning, scheduling, and cost control. When coupled with AI (Artificial Intelligence), these positions provide tremendous opportunities, benefits, and rewards to those qualified to expertly pilot and navigate them (aka Planners, Schedulers, and Cost Controllers-with professional designations-represented by the iAPSCC brand).

Undesignated refers to the absence of a formal title earned through recognized institutional study, practice, examination, certification, and qualification: for example, you can acquire professional title initials of PE, MD, MBA, B.S., Ph.D., CA, JD, or JP; however, no such professional title exists for Planners, Schedulers, or Cost Controllers-it's true, many in the so-called position of Planner, Scheduler, or Cost Controller have a title or background in PE (Professional Engineer), CA (Chartered Accountant), or JP (Journeyperson), but this is not a substitute for professional designation titles for these key positions.

Take the next step in your career

When you join the iAPSCC® community, you're taking the first step in receiving recognition for your value-contribution potential. Your second step will be to earn your professional designation, which will lead to further recognition and rewards, something I’m sure you truly desire in a career and a lifestyle
